The installation is reproducing the texture and atmosphere of rain by the means of a simple cellular algorithm on a deconstructed low resolution LED screen. It is another iteration of my ongoing experiments into artificial mimesis of atmospheric phenomena, seeking for representations of complex organic conditions by technological means.
_Operating principle
The installation shows a generated video loop based on a cellular algorithm mimicking the visual texture of rainfall.
